Description
The original X-Axis endstop mount limits space for any extensions of the printhead in X direction. With this little mount i moved the switch under the belt.
mountable with the original screws.
Printing Details
- Print w/o support as shown in the picture from cura, only the holes for the screws to the stepper need a little cleanup.
- When satisfied with the print, unpower disconnect the printer.
- Unscrew the original endstop holder. The X-Stepper should stay in play safely, because of the four hex distance bolts.
- Replace the two upper hex distance bolts with two of the screws from step 3. Tighten carefully.
- unscrew the lower two hex distance bolts.
- unscrew the endstop switch from the original endstop holder.
- put the screws from step 6 into the slotholes of the new holder plate and the remaining two screws from step 3 in the outer holes (picture)
- mount the new holder under the stepper pulley. Tighten carefully.
- put the little distance block (part two) on the long screws, the limit switch should fit in the gap losely.
- put the nuts from step 6 on, adjust the now mounted switch and tighten the nuts carefully.
