Dice Demons are 3D printed fixtures that simplify the task of making your own polyhedron shaped dice out of wood using a bandsaw.

Dice Demons take most of the woodworking skill out of the equation allowing you to easily make your own dice out of wood. No complex angles or geometry to figure out. No time consuming setups to change from one die type to the next. The 3D printed fixtures have all of the complex angles built in.

With these jigs you can make five dice types, D4, D8, D10, D12 and the D20.  You will receive seven .STL files.  Two of the dice types, D10 and D20, require two jigs each.

Simply line up your guide so that the bandsaw blade lines up with the cutting slot on the fixture.  Then cut a cube of wood using that width setting.  Place the cube in the first location on the Dice Demon and make the cut(s).  Make your way to each Dice Demon station, making cuts along the way.  Once you make your cut(s) in the last station, your die is done!

With these Dice Demons, you can literally make thousands of dice!  Paint them, stain them, sell them online and at craft shows!  Give them as gifts or party favors.  Use them as decoration at events, parties, receptions, gaming sessions!  

You can scale up the .STL files to print larger jigs to make larger size dice!

Disclaimer: These jigs do not create precision dice. The product of these Dice Demons are more of a novelty item. 

Troubleshooting: Results may vary. All 3D printers are not the same. All bandsaws are not the same. Your blade might be getting dull. A dull blade tends to push away from the cut. 

Tips: Use a table saw or another bandsaw to make your blank cubes.  This will keep your dice cutting bandsaw blade sharp and only used when cutting the dice out of the blank cubes. Be sure the bandsaw blade guide is as low as possible to keep the blade rigid during the cuts.
