Saurrok was a general of the Savage Saurian armies and was proclaimed the God of Roar by the leaders of his race after a millenium of war against the threats that besieged their civilisation, in which he defended their lands. For his efforts he was gifted the ancient relic 'Sunbringer' a shield that is able to incinerate his foes with pure sunlight.
They tasked him with a quest to aid them in their struggles to travel to a far off land to search for an ancient race that had hid from the known world to ask for their aid in the wars to come. His companion known only as 'Hatchling' follows him wherever he goes, often scouting for Saurrok in unfamiliar territory.
