🇬🇭 Welcome to Ghana!
This model was designed by Dany Sánchez.
The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum is dedicated to the prominent Ghanaian President. The memorial complex was completed in 1992, situated in a 5 acre park in Accra, capital of Ghana, in west Africa. The mausoleum, designed by Don Arthur, houses the bodies of Kwame Nkrumah and his wife Fathia Nkrumah.
It is located in the spot where Nkrumah made the declaration of Ghana's independence. The building is meant to represent an upside down sword, which in Akan culture is a symbol of peace. The mausoleum is clad from top to bottom with Italian marble, with a black star at its apex to symbolize unity. The interior boasts marble flooring and a mini mastaba looking marble grave marker, surrounded by river-washed rocks. A skylight at the top in the mausoleum illuminates the grave. The mausoleum is surrounded by water, a symbol of life (from Wikipedia).

Printing Tips
Suggested parameters:
For better details, print slow, such as 15 or 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%
No supports needed, this has been optimized to eliminate all overhangs.
For a colorful print without MMU, you can pause-and-change filament to start with blue for the water pond, then clay for the ground, and lastly marble for the actual monument.
