Description
The bearded man named in the inscription on the architrave is accompanied by two small girls, possibly his daughters. The model of a foot he holds in his right hand may allude to a career as a shoemaker. The two girls are represented as miniature adults rather than realistically proportioned children. The eldest wears a sakkos (cap) on her head and large earrings.
