Description
A base for Mini GT Advan HKS Toyota GR Supra, it should work with all HKS kit GR Supra that Mini GT releasing.
I've also included an additional generic base so it is not fixed to the Mini GT HKS GR Supra.
The display base is separated into 3 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are:
1) Name plate (NamePlateAssemV3.STL and NamePlateAdvanOnly.STL)
2) Base (BaseV2.STL and BaseV2 (NoHoles).STL)
3) Base back wall (BoxBackV1.STL)
Base and Name Plate Variants
There are 2 variants of Base and Name plate in this, the one in my pictures are "BaseV2" and "NamePlateAssem".
The difference for each base are:
BaseV2:
My standard base design with holes pre made so that wires can go through to hold the car.
BaseV2 (NoHoles):
My standard base design but with the holes removes, so you could drill your own holes to fit any car you wanted.
The difference for each name plate are:
NamePlateAssem:
As shown in the picture, it is made for the Advan HKS GR Supra with modelled Advan and Toyota Supra names on it.
NamePlateHKSOnly.STL:
A generic design with just the Advan branding on it.
Print Settings
Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm
Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackV1":
1) Layer 19 (Advan stripe colours, mine is in red)
2) Layer 24 (Advan lettering colours, mine is in white)
Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlateAssem":
1) Layer 11 ("Toyota" lettering and Advan stripe colours, mine is in red)
2) Layer 16 ("Supra" lettering and "Advan" lettering, mine is in white)
Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlateAdvanOnly":
1) Layer 11 (Advan stripe colours)
2) Layer 16 ("Advan" lettering)
Colours
Colours of all other items is your choice.
Assembly
The car is tied with metal wire through the display base holes, the wire will need to be slide between the wheels and the metal body.
Back plate should slide in nicely into the display base. The name plate might need some trimming to the side to fit into the box.
Others
I have not test both generic design, but they should print just fine.
