Thanks Steve, you are a master! This is the second clock plan I've purchased and they're absolutely awesome! After printing, hung it on the wall, and it runs!

For anyone wondering, the pendulum and pellet mix worked on the original 'Small Pendulum Wall Clock' , however you need to reduce the z height of the pellet by around 12.5% (as this clock is deeper). Made a huge improvement to my pendulum as the screws I could source was not long enough to adjust the time on the original pendulum, all of this is solved with the built in thread on this version. I did also replace the a lot of the other gears (and the winding mechanism) and ratchet when doings a colour change, however there was a bit of sizing adjustments to be made. The escapement does not fit the older clock however as the second gear is not deep enough. Overall a LOT of improvements in this clock, it's much easier to build.I had some issues with curling on some of the gears where there is overhangs on the print, probably due to the 3Dfillies silk PLA i was using. I would suggest printing multiple gears at a time and slowing down a little, this will allow your overhangs to cool a little so that the second portion of the attached tapered gear can print well.

Steve, thank you for the awesome design! I am in love with it. Super detailed instructions and just a joy to build. I just bought two more and something tells me that won't be the last lol. To anyone who is contemplating making this clock I highly suggest it. I made a bird clock before this, and while it was cool- this is on a completely different level. Beyond impressed-

One made! Took very little fettling to get working. Slowly brining it into regulation. And, yes, I know, the colours are very boring!

Turned out "fat" needing 11# to run reliably. Wish I used green driver gears/ ratchet assy as this is the "green" part of the clock (no batteries, only gravity). A fun, easy build, recommend to anyone.

These are a few different angles of the clock. The last picture was a video at first but is now a picture because they don't allow videos here. Basically what is happening there is the weight is falling very quickly to the floor. I'm not pulling on it just holding on to it. The barrel gear (I think) just rubs up against the ratchet even though they have a good connection and quickly falls down. I thought maybe the ratchet wasn't close enough because of the badly printed holes so I glued the rod in place. Once I did this it just does the same thing. The only other thing that may be causing this is a wobbly escapement wheel. The escapement wheel might not be being stopped by the pallet because its not in the right place and it just spins freely. Maybe I'll just glue that one too and keep trying stuff until it works. Also is my weight ok? Sorry it took me so long to respond and sorry for the bad quality images.

Working great. Don't mind the funky colors, this was a trial to make sure I could make it run.

After much trial and error and tests, the clock works reliably! The pendulum may stop swinging every once in a while but its not a big deal. It is very accurate and quite aesthetic. I have put a lot of time and persistence into this and it paid off! Thanks Steve for all your help along the way. This is the coolest 3d print I've made so far. Amazing.

This is my sp13 in progress. It has been running for 3 weeks and only required a couple of adjustments. Now that it is running well I will take the time to print the weight barrel. Thank You for the brilliant design! Cheers

Fun build. I had to disassemble and reassemble clock multiple times to get it to run properly as I figured out various issues along the way. Now it runs great!
