"The Awakening" is a system agnostic adventure designed for a party of 4-5 players with an average length of 4-5 hours. Using the themes proposed here, along with the statblocks provided later in this package, you can run this adventure in any system you prefer, such as a D&D 5th edition Sci-Fi conversion.
The adventure takes place in the alien caverns deep below the planet surface of Vermillion. The story touches upon themes of isolation and horror, as the adventurers find themselves trapped in the spawning grounds of an unknown species, looking for a way out.
