I have a completed unit, but no matter what kind of adjustment, it will only “tick-tock” for about 20/30 seconds and the escapement will stop.
I really have no clue what other kind of adjustment to do. I’ve tried loosen up the collars on the pallet to ease the movement, the finial adjustment the full length of the thread rod, added a few drops of lubricant at all rotating areas. I do have the recommend 42 pennies in the pendulum and nothing. What else should I try?
