Even more valuable than your regular troops are your commanders, who's years of training and expertise cannot be replaced regardless of how much time or money you throw at the problem. But you still need commanders on the front lines. For that you can use a taskmaster as a proxy for your best leaders, letting them push from the front without risking their lives.
