The Type-18M2B is a specialized Tank Hunter used by the Astra Guard. Based on the same chassis as the Type-18M, the "Bushwacker", once common among the armoured regiments, is fast becoming a rare due to the nature of the features of the heavy laser cannon.
And although a heavy laser has truly colossal power, it also releases a huge amount of heat after each shot, which has a detrimental effect on the gun’s rate of fire, and if the circumstances are unfortunate, it can completely disable it.
