3D Printing Nerd Design Challenge Spool Holder.
Designed in Fusion 360 in 2 parts so it can be printed flat with no support for maximum strength. The main body is the spool holder and the second is a stopper that screws at the end.
The Loft will keep the spool away from the spools protruding from the front of the shelfs. The under side is hollowed out to reduce the amount a filament needed. The base that goes over the shelf has cutouts so it can be place over a shelf bracket if required without interfering.
There 4 versions of the Spool holder, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm and 120mm long so support different spool widths.
Printed in nGen Dark Green on Prusa MK3. Setting where off for good overhang on the underside. Still a good test print.
I included some rendering from Fusion 360 showing what the Holders will look like on an actual shelf.
