Fungal hounds are a rare but fearsome sight in the dark, damp forests and underground caverns they call home. Fungal hounds are often seen as protectors, as they are known to fiercely guard their mushroom patches and will stop at nothing to protect them from any perceived intruders. Like their name suggests, the hounds are a curious blend of fungus and wolf, with shaggy, matted fur covering bulbous, mushroom-like growths. Their eyes glow with an eerie green light that pierces through the darkness, warning would-be intruders to stay away.
