Hatsune Miku is a human persona voiced by the singing synthesizer application developed by Crypton Future Media. With over 100,000 unique songs using her voice samples, an international fan base and live shows all over the world Hatsune Miku is one of the most successful characters to have ever come out of Japan. Her name meaning "First sound from the future", Hatsune Miku is portrayed as sixteen, with long turquoise pig tails and as "an android diva in the near-future world where songs are lost."
