From the distant worlds of the Valtarian sector, the frozen wastes and hive cities of Valtaria's surface are home to billions of the abhumans known as Nyokans. Service is a fact of life if one has any hope to escape the squalor of the underhives, or the primitive tribals that roam the frozen wastes. From discarded servants to slum gangers, the Winterguard accept all sorts to be forged as dutiful, cohesive units. Making use of the varied boons of their abhuman kind, the Winterguard use massed infantry to terrifying effect.
