I'm just a humble doodler that occasionally makes cool stuff, and makes other cool stuff look just a little bit better.
These Battletech models are based heavily on the Mechwarrior Online mechs. However, the vast majority of ripped files from MWO are not optimal for printing, and while many other modelers are content with stitching these files together to make something workable, I decided to take it a step further.
Instead of just giving you a re-hashed MWO file, I created an entirely new model that is optimized for printing at Battletech Scale. Parts are thicker, manifolds are closed, and there is only a single shell.
These mechs that I'm posting have been tested thoroughly, but there may be some minor issues.

I really like the design on this mech. Sadly i overestimated the size of it so went a little to hard on the supports which lead to a couple rough spots. Details are a little shallow to easily highlight in a couple spots, having come from Warhammer where everything is over exaggerated for paint ability. But if I had put the time in I think this model could have been reallly nice. Sadly this was really just a test model for me, but im happy to have had it be my first battletech experience.
