Welcome back to Sicily!
Another great model of Palermo created by MiniWorld 3D collaborator Manfredi Laguardia from @3dlayerup.
The INA Assitalia skyscraper is the tallest building in the city of Palermo, in the Mediterranean Italian island of Sicily.
Built between 1952 and 1955, its style reflects the modern movement according to the canons of Italian Rationalism. It was designed by Carlo Broggi, whose idea was chosen in a contest. It was built by the Amoroso brothers' company "CEFA".
The building has 18 floors plus a metal structure with the illuminated logo of INA Assitalia placed on top. In addition to its height, it also stands out for its monumentality. There are sculptural reliefs created by the artist Nino Geraci representing Sicily and its industry.
MiniWorld 3D is excited to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Sicily. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!
