The Parrot Bebop 2 Talon is a mountable mechanical claw for the Bebop 2 Drone.
Using a spring lock, The Parrot Bebop 2 Talon snaps closed around an item upon contact. It can also be set to open with an integrated spring lock system. The talon is printed with minimal supports and light post-print clean up, and it is easily assembled with readily available springs, screws, washers, and nuts.
If following recommended print settings (.15mm to .2mm layer thickness, .15 % infill) the fully assembled Talon weighs just 35 grams and can pick up items several times its weight. The Talon mounts to the Parrot Bebop 2 underbody UAM (a modified version of Kirby Downey’s Bebop 2 Drone Bottom Mount, https://www.myminifactory.com/object/bebop-2-drone-template-17450).
Also included in this package is the Parrot Bebop 2 underbody UAM counterbalance mount, which has a location to place up to 10 US pennies to counterbalance the drone depending on load requirements
