'The wind whistled around Slumnic, shielded by his sprinter's goggles. The smell of burnt asphalt and freshly cut grass filled his nostrils. "Come on Flash, let's put on a good show!" The huge snail quickened its pace, determined to outrun its competitors. He hadn't lost a race in all his years as a pro, and he wasn't going to start now. Flash clenched his snail jaws and sped down the stretch. Seconds later, the crowd went wild as the PA system announced the winners of the race: Slumnic and Flash.'
