Viking Axemen and Coxwain

The axe was a primary weapon through the dark ages and beyond.
Inconcievable to have a Viking war party but no axemen.
These Vikings have a modular design, often only the head covering is different. The coxwain is a re-issue (Viking Trader and Seated Vikings-2 posts), but with different head, wearing a brand new coat of chain mail and generally having been polished up.
I printed them out here to populate a 32-seater in 1:72 scale. The results using a resin printer are shown in the pictures here, but if you go up a size to 1:56 scale (apply 128% size to the attached files) they may come out even better.
Update 08-10-2021: Updated the body protection - everyone now wears one-piece mail shirts, no lacing anywhere, and reaching down to elbows and knees. Updated the helmets - everyone wears a spangenhelm with noseguard. No more visors or eyeguards. Updated the cloaks to fold properly. Both warriors come in three versions: bareheaded, with helmet or with helmet and cloak. Added also one version of Egil holding sword instead of axe. Overhauled round shields - proper size now (90cm dia.) to stop a hail of arrows, rocks or thowing-axes and not the dinky earlier shields. Also added a selection of authentic swords if you need some scatter scenery.
Update 25-01-2024: Added a separate cloak.
