The purpose of this design is for holding tools for the Ultimaker 3 in my high school Graphics Class. People have recently been complaining about me leaving my 3D printing tools laying around the classroom. I designed the tool holder to solve this problem and keep my tools in a convienient area. The holder easily mounts onto the side of the printer so that the tools are where I need them when I need them. Included in the tool holder are spaces for a spatula, exacto knife, pick, glue stick, the screwdriver included with the printer, and a plastic squeegy. Why a squeegy you ask? I have found that I can remove old glue easily by running water over the build plate and using the squeegy to scrape it off. If you don't like this feature, the link is included to modify the model in Tinkercad. This should work with any Ultimaker printer except the Ultimaker Originals. If you have any suggestions on how to make this model better, please let me know.
Print Details: 10% fill density and any layer height desired. Supports required. Print time could range from 9 hours to 1 day 23 hours. Model weight is 90 grams with 22 grams of support.
