Description
I needed a spoolholder for my 2.6kg spool, so I made one.
This spoolholder supports spools with:
- a minimum hole diameter of 45mm.
- a maximum outer diameter of 336mm.
- a maximum width of 130mm.
I don't know the maximum supported weight, but with the print settings I used (see printing details) it can at least support a spool with a total weight (filament + the spool itself) of 3.3kg when printed in PLA.
Printing Details
Make sure bridging is enabled in your slicer!
For printing orientation see photos.
Parts needed for completion:
- 2x Spoolholder_body
- 2x Spoolholder_connector
- 1x Spoolholder_stick
Print settings I used:
- 300 micron layer height.
- 5 percent infill
- no supports, just make sure bridging is enabled for the Spoolholder_body parts
