Printed on: Creality Ender 3
Material: PLA
Description
Thank you! Worked great on a Cuisinart "Smart Stick" Immersion blender. We'll see how long PLA lasts!
1) Printed in PLA @ 210C, 100% infill, brim
2) Disassembled mixer, three screws hiding behind plastic covers.
3) removed motor mounting grommet and attachment release mechanism to access shaft and then removed bits of old bushing
4) Heated shaft with a lighter for 30sec and pressed new connector on
5) Reassembled with motor bushing, tool release mechanism, screws, etc
6) On mixer attachment, had to remove 1/4" rubber bushing from shaft (wouldn't fit). Hint, if you push the shaft down towards the blade, you can press it out of the plastic (you'll likely find a bunch of dried up food in there that you'll want to clean)
Seems to work, we'll see how long PLA lasts. We sometimes have to give the blade a twist to align it and/or reprint when I break out the PETG filament
