Hi my name is Jim. I've been a CAD tech (designer) for the last 10+ years. I started 3D printing about 2 years ago because I curious about printing and thought the idea of making anything I could think of sounded pretty cool. I purchased a Makerbot Rep 2 and have been printing all kinds of things ever since. Still to this day when I print something I catch myself standing there watching my printer and being amazed that I'm actually making something out of basically nothing.
