Freyja, Bringer of the End
Era: The War
Role: Executioner
Race: Ascended
Age: ???
Gender: Female
Origin: Tiefling
Beacon- Psi
The Tiefling race is not well known in this part of the world. Upon our first sight we thought of them as walking devils. It was only over time and the peaceful approach the Tieflings had with us did we finally understand that they meant no harm. But once the Heralds revealed themselves we could only fear what the future may hold.
Freyja appeared soon after the war began. At first it was believed to be a mercenary that was tasked with destroying outer villages. Only when the Fallen encountered her did we learn that the Psi Beacon had given birth to yet another monster.
Freyja has shown immense skills with blades and magic. There can be no other word for her than executioner. Not only does she overpower most of her enemies but weaker humans report being unable to move in her presence as if they are powerless.
Due to her late appearance in this war it can only be assumed that the frightening power she carries surpasses even the Zealot. It is unknown if these two beings have made contact with one another.
It should be noted that this Herald treats everything as an enemy. Ascended and Human alike are destroyed by this Herald.
Nitya, Keeper of Eternity
When the beacons stopped giving their blessing the Merfolk felt a strange shift in the ocean. To investigate this disturbance they sent out Nitya. As one of the younger female Merfolk she was full of energy and life. She was tasked with exploring a region of the ocean that was not well known.
It is unknown exactly what events took place before she found the object but current Merfolk accounts state that upon Nitya’s return she had a different personality. She started to become obsessed with cultivating the youth and others. Her desire for knowledge and growth began to cause unease among the others. She cared about nothing other than knowledge and prosperity.
Slowly she began to eat less, to be seen less. And in a matter of months she had disappeared from the sight of all but a few. News of the Zealot had reached the domain of the Merfolk by the time Nitya reemerged from her dwelling. While she seemed similar to her old self she now had some strange changes. Her fins had all seemed to be sharper and shiner. Her eyes had a strange glow within them (Something that made it feel as if her soul was gone) Around her forehead a crown of metal had emerged from within and fused with the flesh.
The Merfolk grew afraid of her new form. While she still held her beauty she was no longer a Merfolk.
Nitya would soon leave the domain to unknown waters. Accounts from the village mention that she spoke of the Beacon’s love. By the time she left she still retained her beauty, but her fins were now a mix of metal and flesh and her tail had sporadic patches of missing flesh and metal. Some of the Merfolk that had grown to listen to her talks left with her. None were seen by the village again.
Report to the Alliance:
It is unknown when Nitya will reappear or the status of the Merfolk that left with her. Our analysis can assume that Nitya encountered a Beacon and was transformed into a herald. Due to the amount of conversion we assume she will not be a combat type. Due to retaining the knowledge to gather information after exposure to the Ascended core investigation will need to be made into the level of Intelligence she now has.
One point of concern should be the ability to remain underwater. This will be the first encounter with an Aquatic Ascended and countermeasures are unknown. Scouts will attempt to discover the whereabouts of Nitya and dispose of her before she can rendezvous with other Heralds.
Herald Danger Status: Medium
The Merfolk race has been known to use magic and we can only assume that this Herald will be able to use magic as well. We have recently received reports of fishing vessels sinking off the bay of Mardis.
Azvameth, Zealot of the Heavens
A mysterious being that appeared in the Bronis region shortly after the Beacons disappeared. No one knows who the Zealot was before or where they hailed from. No one would be able to tell anyways. This being was no longer human. Flesh and Bone had been exposed and no Flesh existed on its body. Metal appendages and parts now protrude out of the body. The heart that was once inside the body was now exposed and had been turned into a complete Mechanical component.
Little is truly known about this Herald even though it has played a major role in this invasion.
During the fall of Kel in the Year 551 we learned that the monster had named itself Azvameth. He proclaimed that his race was called the Ascended. Beings that traveled through the stars in order to find new life and make them one with them. He was their messenger.
Soon after the Zealot withdrew himself into a sheltered location and we do not currently know of its location. All we have left are the notes from a soldier at Kel and the Alliance report on the knowledge they possess of this being.

Origin: United Russian Front
Name: L0-B0 (Delta Variant)
Classification: UR-01
Weapons: Mecharium Claws, Sonar, Mecharium teeth
Armor: Mecharium
Weight 1,100 Kilos
This weaponized animal was created by Russian scientist Demetri Malikov to use in the snows and forest of the Russian countryside. As it was the first ever Mechanized Animal “Mechanimal” This was not outfitted with many weapons. Powered by a Mana core it uses its sharp fangs and claws to tear through enemy armor.
This beast is also equipped with a set of tank treads on the backside of each leg for travel through rough conditions. These wolves have a pack mentality embedded in their programming.
When first deployed one unit is designated as the Alpha and Omega. The Alpha process all in progress combat data from all the pack units while the Omega calculates formations and battle plans. These two will stand in the rear of the pack in order to complete this programming.
As a failsafe, if one Alpha or Omega is destroyed a pack unit will immediately be designated as the new Alpha and continue the process.
As the amount of pack units dwindles the Alpha and Omega can begin to engage in combat while continuing the analysis. This programming can have a devastating effect on enemies as the wave of intelligent mechas do not stop until the last one falls.
