A pedestal mug has a handle on each side of the bowl that looks like a beer cup. The pedestal attached on the bottom of the dish draws attention. Mug cups were popular during the period of Three States. This grayish-blue cup was especially common in Shilla and Gaya region. The mug cup can be divided into the body, handle and lid. The pedestal is shaped like the Chinese character ‘eight’ (八), and triangular holes are made in one layer.
