This is a love letter to a little cartoon from my youth. It poked fun at the realities of growing up through the lens of a parody of Jaques Cousteau's documentaries. Every day Spongebob continues to teach the valuable lesson of applying humor to our everyday lives.
This is a statue first shown in episode 38 of season two for a grand total of six seconds or so. Since then however, in combination with a painting shown in the next frames, have taken the internet by storm.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, there's more where this came from.
This was printed on a Formlabs Form 2, but should print fine on most resin or FDM printers. There are two holes in the top of the head where you insert pre-overstressed springs and secure them in place with CA glue and baking soda.
