×Pseudo-respirator AKA dust mask AKA N95 wanna be
1. Tight fit is the most important part of any mask
2. Prime and prepare the surface to cut the possibility of seepage
3. Any physical activity, will increase the volume of air we need, that might mean, a filter cartridge to increase filtration surface area
4. I added the exhaust fan as I have breathing problems, I am OK with inhaling but forced exhalation makes me very tired. Use it if you know you are not going to put others at risk. I used a piece of inner tube as the flap material, that folds over to provide the tension needed to keep it flat on the opening.
5. This and all other designs are a best guess, a certified mask is the only one guaranteed to protect, even with those a tight fit and training to use them properly is essential
6. When choosing a filter material, make sure there are no particles that can be dislodged from it that can end up in your lungs. A fine, woven polyester mesh can help
7. I printed in PLA and used a hairdryer to soften the edges and mold it to my face (More septum) so the fit is tighter. About 5 degrees C
