Hey guys,
That is the first time that I share one of my projects, this is a very simple one but still very cool to print and use to teach children about clean energy generation.
I was responsible for developing a project that children can assemble, have fun and understand more about engineering and energy generation.
Based on a metal turbine that we have in college, I was able to design and 3dprint this one.
I also did a key chain for the kids.
This was a very simple and fun project to make, I was able to turn some LEDs on using it.
I hope you guys can improve my design and have the same amount of fun printing it as I did. Share with me the results and follow my 3d printing Instagram @RP_3dprinting
I oriented the turbine blades down (the spherical part up and the hollow down) and used some supports in the internal hollow of the turbine.
ABS
Please, scale the blades to 103% considering that ABS use to contract more than PLA
