Hi everyone,
I present you Mai Sakurajima from the Anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" aka "Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume o Minai", which is ready for 3D printing :).
The original 3d Model was not ready for print.
The original 3D Model was published on 2021-07-22 on Deviantart for the MikuMikuDance Software (MMD) and was not ready for print.

I thought it would be simple but I was wrong XD.
The model was at some points really difficult, the hair was hard to manage for good printing (because long hair...).
The face also needed a complete remodelling for printing and also slightly rescaling. It looked a bit to thick and the neck was to long.
The difficult part were the eyes. Normally Mai´s eyes are a mix of calm and angry....and this was...hard to achieve.
I think it works but it is not 100% accurate, but it is ok for fanart purpose^^.
The body was not a big deal, basically it is just a bodysuit.
I learned a bit from the Annie Leonhardt project. I made the chair and table legs a bit thicker to avoid bending and for better printing I deselected the pedestal.
It is possible to use the model without the pedestal, but I would recommend it for more stability.
Resin is sometimes bending over the time and it gives you more safety.
I Saw my supports broke a bit on the bottom side of the table and it turned a bit into a 3 dimensional "V" - shape. So I remodelled the table a bit after this and the bottom side will now start from the middle bottom side and go not to the edges/corners.
This should give more control to the printing process.

This is a transformation into a new medium. From a digital work to a printable object. It is not possible to use the models for animation/games etc.

Thank you! She's so nice. I'm just a noob (3rd print), I printed her on a Elegoo Mars 2 Pro with ECO Resin (Anycubic) but I really like the result. Hand for scale, 9,5cm tall (ground to top ears) without her base. I recommend to print her bigger and with lesser supports because some part (ears, fingers, and some hari) are very fragile, and I hate those imperfections where supports fix. 0,025 standard layers. 2,75 sec. standard layers.
