×Binder Clip
For the Sinterit Lisa competition, I wanted to focus on designs that are very difficult or impossible to print on FDM printers to showcase the capabilities of an SLS printer. This assembly contains moving parts (both handles/legs) which are to be printed as one piece joined to the body. Also, it relies on material properties as the thin section should bend.
The body has little nubs which will hold the stem/handles of the binder clip in place but allow you swing it forward and it will then click forward much like a regular binder clip.
I will replace the rendered image with a 3D printed one as soon as someone (hopefully me) prints it on the Sinterit Lisa
These are oriented at an angle so they can be nested and stacked to showcase some of the advantages of SLS printing. They also show that moving parts can be printed as one piece without the need for support material.
