Gears the Snowman
Gears the Snowman

Gears the Snowman was a fun little christmas ornament project. All the gears, the face, hat, and arm were drawn in Inkscape, imported as an SVG sketch, and then extruded in autodesk. The teeth are actually hex nuts, but they look a little rounder because they're so small. I used a Prusa MK2S for the attached photo, .4mm nozzle, and just plain white PLA. Depending on if you use a raft or not, I was able to make 6 of these in under 6 hours at .2mm layer height. These took less than 10g of plastic a piece (if you don't use a raft). Easy, simple giveaway to your steampunk minded friends for christmas.
