Description
This naiskos (a small temple with pillars and pediment) was found near the Dipylon Gate, Athens. It depicts a beaded warrior, Prokles son on Prokleides of Aigilia, wearing a chiton, corselet and himation. He's holding a sword in his left hand and greeting his seated aged father with his right. The women between tham is probably Achippe, Prokles's mother. Their names are engraved on the epistyle.
