Overly Designed Paint Palette
Overly Designed Paint Palette

This is a paint palette that I designed (over-designed). It has 7 paint cups, 3 brush holders, and 1 handle. There is both a left-handed and right-handed version. It was designed so that you can hold it with your non-dominant hand more comfortably, with the brush holders not getting in the way of accessing the paint cups. It was designed for people like me who do not necessarily have a lot of surface area to put palettes and brushes on where they paint. Also, for people who find holding palettes uncomfortable and would rather have a handle than just a thumb-hole or nothing at all to help hold the palette.
I printed it in basic PLA at .2mm resolution and 15% infill. It took about 10 hours to print. I did add supports to the handle area. I just used the generated supports from Prusa 3D Slic3r, and that worked great. It's very easy to get the supports off. I did not want to sacrifice the more comfortable/versatile handle angle for printability without supports. That said, this object was made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iaIWMghUBU4 So please feel free to modify it to whatever works best for you!
Happy painting!
