Description
Lithic knife made in obsidian. This volcanic rock has a texture similar to glass, which allows it to have sharp edges that could be used as a multipurpose tool for domestic, artisanal or defence purposes. It comes from Rapa Nui, or Easter Island and was donated to our museum by Sebastian Englert in 1948.
