Beep Boop Beep Boop! What will you create?
SUGGESTED DONATION: $3
Introducing the Robot Blocks Volume 1, a modular system of play! These funky spunky blocks can be assembled in endless combinations to create a legion of retro sci-fi robots. Simply pop them into your slicer and print away.
This model took a significant amount of time and effort to design and test print and I am very proud of the end result and excited to share it with the 3D printing community at large. With that in mind, I am trying out a "pay what you think it's worth" system for this model. If you don't wish to pay for it, that's totally fine by me, please download it and enjoy. But if you would like to support my work monetarily so that I may continue to create more of it, the suggested donation for this piece is $3.
As always, you can see more documentation of my process on Instagram @coolthingsbyjacob.
Thank you and happy printing!
I printed all blocks with their decorated faces oriented facing upwards. However, some of these blocks could be printed in different orientations if you so wished (though I'm not sure I would recommend it). I did 20% infill to give the blocks some more weight and printed with a brim.
The Gearbox block has a rotating interior that prints separate from the block body and must be printed with the decorated face up on the build plate.
