This is the coolest magical castle in all the land! This is Hogwarts but with a twist this is a castle for the magical animals just like the rare and beautiful unicorn. This castle protects these magical animals from people who want to hurt them and use them for evil :0
I have 3d printed the Burj Khalifa for this Grand Tour Competition, because someday I would like to visit Dubai. It has been my dream since I was a child. I have used white PLA, and a 0.15 layer height. Later, I have painted it with a silver spray, to achieve the real color of the Burj Khalifa. It has taken 6 hours to print but the result is worth it.
Eiffel Tower - I picked this as my competition entry as it's the place I proposed to my fiancee, 3 children and a mortgage later, we couldn't be happier. This was a very challenging print due to the overhangs, it stands at approx 12 inches tall, printed in PLA at a layer height of 0.2
A 3D printed model of the Parthanon in Greece Fun fact: was taken on Mount Olympus, Utah
This building is what I like to call the green factory. Where they make everything green like green eggs and ham just kidding this is a pristine green factory with beautiful features :))
A castle where only the fairest people in the land can visit.
I would love to go see this architectural masterpiece. Its massive dome that's right in the middle with the smaller half domes that just give this church a very impressive look. Note: This model is from MiniWorld3D Model Name: Church of St. Sava - Serbia
Model: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-hallgrimskirkja-iceland-68389 -- Printer: Anycubic Vyper -- Material: marble PLA -- After visiting Iceland I could only recreate the magic of the Northern Lights that illuminate Reykjavic's architecture at night. The church is unique and the 3D model is spectacular.
Water Tower for Model Train Layout
For Anycubic Grand Tour submission, we decided to print St. Mark's church, since it is from our country of Croatia, we were quite suprised to see that they actually had the model of it! "Our story origins 2 years ago, 2019. when I first met my girlfriend, I was livestreaming around the Zagreb, she saw I was in front of this very own church, when she decided to "streamsnipe" or show up on stream, and from there on, everything else is a history :)" Printed on amazing Anycubic Photon Mono
I wanted to recreate Goathland or more precisely Hogsmeade as seen in the Harry potter movies in OO scale. The available kits weren't cuting it for the space i had available. It had to be compacted a bit. On that, i took upon myself to re-model most of the station that i needed. It is not a 100% accurate representation, but it's a look alike enough for my needs. It took me months of after work hours to get everything modeled in Solidworks and a few weeks to get everything printed and painted. The supports and handles for the point moving system are also 3d printed, designed from scratch as well, inspired by old techniques, but way cheaper and faster to protoype/build. Sadly it's not over yet, and won't be in time for the end of this contest. But, i'm entering the contest anyway :) If only i had a resin printer to make a bit more detailing parts, like the cable rods or the interiors *wink* *wink* In all seriousness thank you for even reviewing this entry, have a good day! PS: All of the stl are available for free on thingiverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/lkdesu/designs
A vintage filling station I remember from my children. I did not print the cars but everthing else was done from scratch.
I printed this beautiful sculpture Still water , which is part of the scan the world initiative on myminifactory. I choose it because it is just an impressive piece of art and i wanted to see if I could make it look like the real 10m high piece. It was printed with Colorfabb copperfill, sanded and polished and then treated with chemical aging resulting in a beautiful green/ blue patina. It was finished with a bamboo plate. It would be so awesome to have a bigger resin printer besides my photon mono so i can do projects like this with resin instead of fff. Please check my Instagram for more: 2be3dprinted
This awesome velociraptor sculpture by the talented Rob Pauze is available on Myminifactory. I printed it at 185% scale and is almost 1meter wide! I airbrushed it according the colors of the movie Jurassic park (one of my childhood favorite). And placed it on a bamboo stand. The detail in the model is fantastic so i am planning to redo this with fully printed on my anycubic mono.. or maybe a bigger machine? ;). Check my Instagram 2be3dprinted for more.
This amazing sculpture/bust is made by Eastman and available for free on Myminifactory. It's probably one of the most popular fan art pieces on the site. I printed it pretty large (around 25cm tall) and finished it with a bronze dry brush technique. It is a statement piece for in any room!

Brixodin Performance 3D
I picked this object from myminifactory because I wanted to make a temple that was built by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I couldn't find the model anywhere so I took the opportunity and uploaded this one to myminifactory so others could enjoy this model. This building is special to me since I was born in the city it was built, and some of my family enjoy going to it sometimes. It's a really beautiful temple that I couldn't help but share. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-provo-temple-186956
This is the Ribaudo kiosk located in front of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. In addition to being one of the many elements in art-nouveau / liberty style, it has also been a tobacconist since 1984, one of the few that you can always find open in the historic center of Palermo. Choosing a palace in Palermo is difficult due to the dominations that have existed and all the artistic styles that blend harmoniously within the city. I don't know if this is the most beautiful but it certainly represents an institution, because in everyday life we all go to Ribaudo, some for cigarettes, some for scratch cards or revenue stamps. Every good Palermo always comes from Ribaudo
My girlfriend and I love the Arc de Triomphe, and she bought me the Lego set for Christmas! While the print is in miniature, we hope to see it in full scale one day.
I have chosen to print Camp Nou - Barcelona from MiniWorld3D which is fantastic 3d printable model well organized and labled. being a fan of Barcelona football club made it my number one choice for this competition, it is the home playground of my favourit team and a place I've always wanted to visit one day. for the print I used PLA with metalic silver, Red, Blue, Silk White, green copper and Black combination of colors which made the final result fantastac and beyond my expectations.
Rialto bridge in Venice, a symbol that needs no introduction. Modeled and printed just on the occasion of visiting it. I think it was my first model for Miniwowrld
Porta felice, one of the ancient gates of the historic center of Palermo, Sicily
Church of San Cataldo, one of the many architectural treasures of Palermo, Sicily
Teatro Massimo of Palermo, the third largest theater in Europe
Typical and characteristic trullo of Alberobello, in Puglia. This type of construction is one of the ancient houses of this town
The Politeama theater, the second most important theater in Palermo, the heart of the city center
The Thinker, based on Auguste Rodin's statue located at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. 3D printed on an Anycubic Photon
This is the Sydney Opera House it is an iconic sight that I always love to see, it usually marks the return home from long periods away from family and friends.
My Gollum entry printed on Photon mono X painted with acrylics from AK interactive
A Zeppelin docking at the Empire State Building. I based this off of a concept photo from the 1930s. Zeppelins never did end up docking at the Empire State in real life, as the updrafts would make them stand on their nose at the tip of the building, but its a bit of alternate history Ive always been in love with. My photo is not black and white, its just painted that way, and all the shadows are painted as well.
Sagrada Familia in red resin. Gaudi is one of my favorite architects and when I first visited Barcelona, I was struck by the magnificence of the Sagrada Familia. The study of organ sound, the biblical story and the interaction with light and nature are contained in the Sagrada. The 3D model also helps us see what it will look like when it's finished. I can't wait to go back to take a photo with the resin print.
I chose the Singapore Merlion because I actually come from Singapore. It kinds of reminds me of my home country. I printed it in red to signify love so it makes me feel better. I know it is usually white but I love my country so I printed it in red.
I printed the Great Wall of China with the Creality CR6 3D printer. I chose the Great Wall of China because I always wanted to go see this country and its hundreds of years old structures, and see how they held up after all this time. It is the most important architectural structure ever built by man. The print is also a tribute of sorts, as the Great Wall of China begins to deteriorate due to human activity and weather conditions. On another subject, this competition was a good exercise. I started to paint miniatures a few months ago and had never painted monuments. It was a very good exercise to improve my painting skills. I liked spending time on the great wall of china and trying to represent the different stones and materials used on this wall. Turnaround video here : https://youtu.be/qZYVT_h3LlY the model is "Great Wall of China" from MiniWorld3D (@MiniWorld) https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-great-wall-of-china-43618 And of course I hope to win this Anycubic grand tour competition! Good luck to everyone :)
Sagrada Familia - my wife and I went to Barcelona for our honeymoon, and every day we went looking for the Sagrada Famillia but never found it. No idea how we missed it, not like its a small bulding!
I really love this lighted sign in downtown Bentonville Arkansas. It catches my eye because it's sort of funny. The city isn't large enough to need a midtown distinction. The sign itself is positioned neatly on the corner of the Midtown Center building in plain view of the iconic Bentonville water tower and the Preacher's Son restaurant. At night it is lit so I added some LEDs to mine to make it useable as a nightlight. This one is printed in Clear PETG and Black PETG for the word panels. The Innertrace and wall mount are in Black PETG, and the rim is in Red PLA to match the real sign (shown in the attached pictures).

The Pyramid of Kukulcan is on my list of places to visit. It shows how advanced peoples of the past were in their ability to study the stars and planets and use that information gathered to build temples and other structured. The Pyramid of Kukulcan was constructed in such a way that on the Spring and Summer Equinox the shadow cast would look like a serpent going down the stairs, which I attempted to recreate in the photo. This is part of the reason I would like to be able to see this structure in real life one day. The model was created by MiniWorld3d.
Pyramid and décors from loot studio
# Meaning # The Brunswick Lion ('Braunschweiger Löwe') is a lion statue from the 12th century, which was put up on the castle square in the center of the city. Today, the lion can be found everywhere in my hometown of Brunswick and the region, as the namesake and logo of clubs, companies and the city itself, including the fire department I'm part of. Worldwide it can be found as the logo of MAN trucks and buses. # 3D-model # The scan was published 7 years ago on MyMiniFactory by the Victoria and Albert Museum. Over the years, I've printed a few small versions of it as gifts for family and friends. But when I saw the challenge, I immediately knew I wanted to print and paint a larger version of it to participate. # Appearance & Scenery # For the competition, I decided to make it look like cast-bronze and to design and print the sandstone-pedestal. That way, a picture of both lions represents the pristine and the weathered condition at the same time. Additionally it represents the advance of manufacturing techniques, from the Middle Ages bronze casting to the modern (resin-)3D-printing technology. And since it's northern Germany, I had to wait two weeks for nice weather to take the pictures. # Print # The 34cm long lion consists of two hollow resin printed parts filled with concrete. After sanding the glued transition and supported surfaces, it was coated with Citadel black primer and rubbed with True Metal wax paint. To give the model more depth, the grooves were left dark. The sign of the pedestal with the lettering was also resin printed on my Photon and primed with wraithbone paint. The upper part of the pedestal consists of two PLA parts printed on my two Mega S, which were joined together and coated with wraithbone primer. To give it a sandstone look, it got sprayed with some glue and sprinkled with fine sand.
The triumphal arch was the first model of a building / monumet that I printed (when I was just starting with 3d printing), I had it on my shelf for a long time until one day I ventured to take it one step further! I decided to set the work in an indeterminate future, where humanity no longer inhabits the earth, but it is possible that there are some survivors. Aditional Info: -Measurements: Approximately * 6.5cm diameter * 6cm only the Arc de Triomphe and ground * 10cm with base include. -Vegetation and Terrain: Expanded polystyrene, coated with "Pasta Das" and then add a layer of soil + pigments to give effects. *Tree: colored foam rubber (commercial), trunk with copper wire. *Grass: I used one that I make myself drying plants. -Water: crystal resin + Mod Poge to give a textured effect and touch-ups with paint. -Arc de Triomphe: painted white to later apply deterioration effects with washes and pigments. -Printer: Flyingbear p905 and PLA
The Twin Towers, undoubtedly one of the most iconic and solemn skyscrapers, that were ever built, loaded with great symbolism. . . This model caught my attention from the beginning, the possibility of adding LED lights in the design and printing the different parts separately using different PLA colors to achieve more realism and a clear reading of the whole, I thought it was something fantastic and that is why I decided not to perform a painting stage or add post-effects. It was vital to pay a lot of attention and care to the printing stage and select the right colors to find the desired effect. . . Used printer: Flyingbear p905 Material: PLA Bits: led lights
this is the leaning tower of pisa printed in red Pla. I printed this because it is leaning in the real world and it always makes me wonder, how is this staying up in the real world? I've always been curious about those kinds of buildings. I wish I can win the Competition to be able to print more of these things with higher quality. Good luck to everyone!
While it may not be the greatest print, it is a building I love to see especially as my sibling recently moved to Chicago.
Print of the Duke Energy building in downtown Charlotte, NC which is a very cool building that I have been able to see many times due to living somewhat nearby.
https://www.myminifactory.com/ru/object/3d-print-kazan-led-bluetooth-speaker-78734 The Kazan Family Centre is a new wedding palace built on the bank of Kazanka River in 2013. The double-story observation deck on the roof, 32 metres up, is a great place to see the city and truly feel its scale. The panoramic view of the riverbed of Kazanka River, Volga, The Kremlin, and the old and new parts of Kazan can all be seen from here. A multi-level green lawn stretches across the front of the centre, with benches where you can sit and enjoy the view. In 2016 a sculptural composition "On I Ona" ("He and She" in Russian) by Dasha Namdakova was erected here. A pair of zilants (city symbols), leopards (symbols of the republic) and their cubs stand guard over family values, embodying the fidelity and strength of marriage ties. In the evening, the building lights up with red lights: creating a feeling of burning, everlasting love. After the building’s construction, its viewing platform has become a popular place for photographers, who come here to take amazing photos and film the panoramic views of the city.
https://www.myminifactory.com/ru/object/3d-print-kul-sharif-mosque-193970 Originally, the mosque was built in the Kazan Kremlin in the 16th century. It was named after Kul Sharif, who was a religious scholar who served there. Kul Sharif died with his numerous students while defending Kazan from Russian forces in 1552. It is believed that the building featured minarets, both in the form of cupolas and tents. Its design was traditional for Volga Bulgaria, although elements of early Renaissance and Ottoman architecture could have been used as well.

I printed and painted the Statue of Liberty. As the child of parents who immigrated to the United States, I hope to visit it in person one day and see its affect as the 'beacon of hope' of which they described. Thank you for providing the stl! Printed with the regular Anycubic Photon using Elegoo grey resin, then primed, painted, washed, and varnished.
I chose the Dutch windmill. When I was a small child I would take road trips with my grandmother. To pass the time we would play games to keep us preoccupied, or possibly to not annoy her the whole trip. One game we would play is anytime you saw a windmill in a field you call it out and earn a point. I loved playing it with her. As an adult now I still catch myself calling out "windmill!" anytime I see one while driving. They give me fond memories of growing up and my sweet grandmother. I found this print to be the perfect choice for me. Model by Menno Contant https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-dutch-windmill-detailed-no-supports-required-169154 Printed on Anycubic Photon S with resin.
This is my model/submission, I modeled and printed the Oroville Dam. I modeled this in Autodesk inventor and using photos from google maps, I was able to get the proper view points from it (and I designed it in a 1:1 scale). Since I do not own a printer, I used the one at my school and I was able to print it in a few parts/colors. The landscape parts are all green, the dam itself is grey while all the water parts are blue, I had to print the reservoir a few times to get the fit just right and the lower part is a raft to make it easier to assemble and glue together. Its a small model but its filled with detail. The print itself is around 4" x 4" since that was the max print size I could do without having to split parts.
Vampire Castle by MiniWorld3D
Fate's End Dice Tower. Amazing design and a joy to print and paint.
Sultan Ahmed (Blue) Mosque - Sultan Ahmed (Blue) Mosque - This mosque is located in my home city - Istanbul. I selected this model because it has a nice story. According to legend, it has six minarets because of a misunderstanding of the Sultan's comment. Sultan asked for a gold (altin) minaret, while the architect understands six (alti) minaret.
I see the Pisa Tower everyday going to class so when I found this model and this contest I immediately knew what to print. Although being creative with one of the most photographed building in the world is tough, I gave it a shot and I am really happy with the results. I tried different subjects and different locations, including the less known ones on the other side of the "Piazza dei Miracoli". Cheers from the "Man In Yellow" and the Yellow Man. See you in Pisa! P.S. The model is gorgeous, was really easy to print and to assemble, try it yourself to see how detailed it is! Check it out here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-leaning-tower-of-pisa-43629
The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile is one of the most famous sights in Paris. However, in September 2021 it could be seen in a very special way. As a tribut to the late artist Christo it was wrapped. I made a small diorama showing different stages of the wrapping process. The model of the Arc de Triomphe is from MiniWorld3D and it was printed on a Anycubis Phton S. The truck-mounted cranes are remixes and printd on a Photon S, too. Wrappers and base are made of sandwich paper and XPS foam, respectively.
Material: Plant based, eco UV resin Anycubic Hello, my name is Giovanny Barrios, I am a Colombian guy who lives in Germany and has chosen the Church of Reykjavik (Hallgrímskirkja). When I was little I had the privilege of being very close to nature. Because my father is a farmer and Colombia is a paradise. Now I live in Germany in the Palatinate Forest, where there are very beautiful mountains, castles and palaces. Through films I was so excited about how magical the northern lights are and when I was looking for the northern lights I came across Iceland and discovered what an incredible country it is. Volcanoes and extremely low temperatures make me aware of how powerful nature is and why it is important to take care of the environment with small deeds in our everyday life. Björk is one of my favorite artists and she is from Iceland, the church also brings me memories of a concert in which she sang together with the choir (Hamrahlíð Choir). Working on this whole project was a lot of fun and brought me to the island of the north, where fantasy becomes a reality.
I printed the cathedral of Notre Dame. I enjoyed the Victor Hugo book and many incarnations of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. The print is from PLA, with LEDs on the inside. The stained glass is made from scrapped PLA projects fused together using fabric glue which is flexible and dries clear. I painted everything in several coats of acrylic to give the piece proper shading and a feel of depth.
Atomium - I selected this model because it is the international symbol of Brussels and Belgium. Print and paint quality could be better if I had Anycubic Photon Ultra. :)
This is a print of "Egyptian Palace / STARGATE" ;) Printed on a Photon Zero, painted and decorated with sand. I also scaled down and printed on the same printer some obelisks, to build a landscape. The whole scene takes as little as 18 cm in lenght! Photo taken with a Canon, a tripod and a 150mm zoom. Sources: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-egyptian-palace-stargate-125537 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-ancient-sandstone-obelisks-154575
when i got into 3d printing during the corona lockdown last year, the Notre Dame stl by MiniWorld3d was among the first free files i downloadet and i been looking for an excuse to print it ever since, so for me Notre Dame was the obvious choice. The model was printed on the Phrozen mighty 4k.
Hey I'm Wolfgang and I'm from Germany. I've always dreamed of visiting Japan. This print of the famous Himeji Castle created by @MiniWorld is a promise to myself to visit Japan, once the opportunity arises. It's printed on a Phrozen Sonic Mighty using Siraya Tech fast grey resin.
I decided to print and paint one of my favourite places from one of my favourite memories ever. Nathan Phillips Square (Toronto City Hall). My memory comes from the 2019 Toronto Raptors NBA championship parade, to which over a million people showed up, including me! I have been a die-hard Toronto sports team since birth, and the Raptor's 2019 championship was the first major success I have seen in my life from my favourite teams (the Bluejays won in the 90s before I was born, and the Leafs are massive losers). Seeing the city come together to celebrate an amazing playoff performance was truly magical, and the passion for our game made for a really fun parade that marked the beginning of one of the best summers ever. Because of my fond memory of the parade, and the already stunningly beautiful nature of the Toronto City Hall, I decided to 3D print and set up a scene of the parade from: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-multi-color-toronto-city-hall-41139 I painted the building to look like the city hall, and even added one of Toronto's famous street-cars (which were just being introduced on Queen street at the time), and the 3 championship buses that led the parade. I also added the world famous Toronto Sign along with actually making the beautiful water reflection pond (that also turns into an ice skating rink in the winter). I had a really good time printing and setting up this scene, and I hope it brings back the same nostalgia of that wonderful day for anybody that views it.

Hi guys. I want to share about a historical place in Hanoi capital of Vietnam. The name of this scenic spot is "One Pillar Pagoda", symbolizing a lotus flower in a lake. I made this 3d model and painted it with antique imitation material, the lake part I added epoxy resin to make the water surface with moss. If everyone travels to Hanoi, please visit this ancient temple. Model link: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-one-pillar-pagoda-188068 Wish everyone happy !
Stonehenge! Such a beautiful mystery. I’ve driven past many times and wondered: why don’t they widen the bloody road here? There’s too much traffic!
I have always loved architecture since I was a little girl. My grandpa got me a subscription to architectural digest and I was hooked. I couldn't wait to get the newest copy and see what wonders from around the world was inside. St. Basil's cathedral has been among my favorite buildings although I wasn't ever thrilled about their color choices. This contest has been truly fun taking a building I love and making it my own. :) design by Louis Ponce https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-st-basil-s-cathedral-moscow-russia-138201

Growing up as a nerd of the 90s, I fell in love with middle earth. When the movies started coming out, I couldn't wait to see the white city, and how they would bring this amazing, larger than life city in the mountain to life. This model captures all the wonder that Tolkein put to page. File Created by Claven Moo https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-minas-tirith-56761
A story is only as good as its villain. "Barad-Dur, the dark tower that suffered no rival," is as pivotal to the epic that was Lord of the Rings as the ring itself. After completing the White City, I knew that the next thing to come off my printer had to be Sauron's home in the shadow of Mount Doom. For my entry I have Himeji-jo (AKA Himeji Castle). I've been a big fan of Japanese castle styles ever since I stepped foot on a Nightingale Floor (uguisubari). The model is made by MiniWorld3D (available here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-himeji-castle-japan-151589 ). This was printed on a FormLabs 3B with High Temp resin (the only resin I have access to with a 25nm layer height). I have uploaded my main entry at the beginning, but I'll put some progress pictures up for those of you who enjoy behind the scenes looks like I do. Also you can compare to the main source image I was using to try to recreate here: https://blog.goway.com/globetrotting/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Himeji-jo-Castle-in-spring-with-cherry-blossoms-Himeji-Japan-_31326562.jpg?x95206
Monument Valley, Utah - USA - Probably one of the most mystical places on the face of the earth, due to the formation of the terrain... - Printer: Flyingbear p905 - Material: PLA -For a more realistic look, use natural soil to make a cover coat over the Brown PLA used as the base color.
Nakatomi Plaza - -Undoubtedly an emblematic building after the movie "Die Hard", known to many people. -In a future or in the past, from some timeline of an alternate reality, the Nakatomi Plaza became a true node of resistance against a rapid, unexpected and brutal alien invasion. Humanity faces the most difficult test of its existence ... -Photos: Photos are attached that show the effects of the atmospheric changes that the planet is undergoing (part of the alien invasion plan to colonize it) - Other photos are attached that show the work done on the model. -Work on the model: -Land: Dough paste was used to model the terrain, then paint, treated earth, finally pigments and washes to give greater realism. -Vegetation: painted and varnished liquines that were cut and placed to shape the Red Grass, on the ground around where they are found there are stains similar to oil (I suggest that these secrete a substance that leaves the earth sterile for the plants that we know , but very suitable for the grass to expand). -Building: Painted in brass color + clear red to form a whole copper, on which a new layer of paint was applied and washed to produce the effect of oxidized copper, deterioration and dirt. -Leds: LEDs were placed inside the building to illuminate the windows, the batteries are housed in the base of the model. -Peana: it was modeled for this particular building, it serves to give height to the model and to house the batteries that light the LEDs. A burnt and oxidized iron effect was made due to exposure to the elements, in line with the proposal of this model. -Printer: Flyingbear p905 - Material: PLA - Bits: led lights - Inspired by "The War of the Worlds"
Tower of Pisa - One of the best known Classic Monuments that are preserved today. -It was the ideal candidate to test the PLA Marmol, to which I applied a gray wash to give a bit of an ambient effect, I decided to accompany the Tower with a simple base that simulates the immediate environment of its location. -Printer: Flyingbear p905 - Material: PLA Marble
Taj Mahal - Agra, India - By itself the Taj Mahal is imposing along with its mystical aura, but it is even more so when it comes to the legend of the "Black" Taj Mahal. So I decided to make this legend come true ... - Printer: Flyingbear p905 - Material: PLA Marble And PLA With Glitter
Kedarnath Temple (Sanskrit: केदारनाथ मंदिर, IAST: Kēdāranātha Mandira, lit. 'temple of the lord of the field') is a Hindu temple (shrine) dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. The temple is located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between the months of April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima, the autumn full moon). During the winters, the vigraha (deity) from Kedarnath temple is carried down to Ukhimath where the deity is worshiped for the next six months. Kedarnath is seen as a homogenous form of Shiva, the 'Lord of Kedarkhand', the historical name of the region. I recently visited this place by doing a trek of 24 kms. The view and the atmosphere is divine and everyone should at least visit this place once.
I recently took a trip to Pisa and was very impressed with the leaning Tower. I then modified the 3d model to have a functional memory of the trip: I added a base and modified the fill of the tower to get a lamp and a brush holder. Hope you like the result.
When I was in Paris this year, I brought the 3d model of Notre Dame with me to tell the story of 2019 with photography and 3D printing. The fire destroyed a large part of the cathedral and the model printed in blue resin and painted in acrylic silver shows what the architecture was like.
I am a lover of cycling and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris is the arrival of the Tour de France. When I was in Paris I could only photograph the 3D model printed in blue resin and painted in acrylic silver with the real monument.
The Ray and Maria Stata Center or Building 32 is a 720,000-square-foot (67,000 m2) academic complex designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The building opened for initial occupancy on March 16, 2004. It sits on the site of MIT's former Building 20, which had housed the historic Radiation Laboratory, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The building's address is 32 Vassar Street.
I have always been fascinated with the ancient Mayan civilization and the amazing pyramids they built that have lasted centuries.
The Chicago River and surrounding buildings - My family and I traveled to Chicago a few years back when I was 11 and it was my first actual experience in a big city, living in a small town all my life. I have included the Chicago River because of our tours on it and have included a Boeing 737 flying into Chicago Midway International airport. This one flight led to what sparked my huge interest in aviation. I was surprised when I found how My Mini Factory had nearly every structure in Chicago, allowing me to make this model!
Hi guys. I made a 3d model of Po Klong Garai tower, this is an ancient tower around the 13th century in central Vietnam (my hometown). The tower is made of fired bricks and has no mortar. With Hindu architectural style, located on a mountain, savanna terrain. Currently, the tower is still quite complete and is a tourist destination that people visit when learning about Champa culture. I took some time to make the tower in 3d and tried to show the reliefs and proportions of the tower and share it with everyone at the link: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print -temple-po-nagar-pinnacle-of-champa-193282 Happy printing to everyone !
Dracula's castle. Populated with monsters, villains and a noble knight. What made this model special to me was how it reminded me of my brother introducing me to anime with the Vampire Hunter D movie.
I decided to print out the Notre Dame cathedral because I love the gothic architecture. When it was destroyed by the fire I was depressed but glad to hear they would rebuild it. That is why I created a piece that hopefully conveys the raising the cathedral from ruin to being rebuilt.
My print is the statue of St. Aidan of Lindisfarne. Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island, was the scene of the first Viking raids of Britain and housed a monastery which contains the Lindisfarne gospels. It was overrun by Vikings and St Aidan retreated to Durham in safety. When I was a child, I visited the Island as a local school excursion and learned its history. There in the field near the ruin of the old monastery stood this statue. I remembered the name, it being unusual to me as a child and never forgot the beauty of the island. This statue means a lot to me, not just because of its striking silhouette and simplistic pose, but it's name too. Many years later, my fiancee are expecting our first child and we're struggling to find a name we both like. I think back to this name and how it made me feel as a child and mention this to my partner and so, the birth of our baby boy Aidan! He's old enough now to learn himself of the local island and so showing this to him brings me joy. Here's the statue of Aidan of Lindisfarne, the seed of a thought which would later grow into welcoming our very own Aidan into the world. I tried photographing it in a natural outdoor environment as it sits open to the weather in its place in Lindisfarne. This is my first attempt at painting a statue and I learned a lot from it.
Disney has been a big part of our lives, and now the lives of our kids. Some of our favorite travel memories have been made at different Disneyland locations around the world. What better way to participate in a Grand Tour Competition than to try and capture the magic Disney has had on so many of us!
A tavern I built :)
This is the sculpture in the city centre of Szeged (Hungary) that I would like to enter in this competition. I have been living in Szeged for 10+ years and I love this city. I chose this statue for several reasons. One is that I think it's one of the best located and therefore most seen and by most people in Szeged, and I think it's beautiful. The other reason is that I'm still a beginner in this hobby, but I wanted to enter this competition with a nice object, and I was able to make this simple model relatively nice. (by my own standards) :) I really wanted to participate, the competition inspired me to improve in my hobby. Of course, it would be a huge encouragement if I could finish at least one notch better than a mid-table finish :) It would have been better with a resin printer, but I don't have one yet. So I worked with what I had. And I particularly liked the primer-paint-varnish part of the build. And this is the model: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-welcome-statue-1-in-szeged-hungary-15423
I have chosen Sensō-ji temple because it presented a great level of detail. It was a challenge to paint and print, especially for the 3D printing newbie I am. Japan and it's architecture, together with the culture, is very fascinating and I hope that one day I will have an opportunity to explore it. It was printed with white PLA on Ender 3 V2
I made this model on my Longer LK4 pro, in different piecies and i've painted it with acrylic colours. Then i made an Arduino-nano circuit for the lighting, put some paper for the windows ant assemble all the piecies. Finally i added some epoxy resin cause i wanted to make some swamp water and plants. Hope you like it! I took the models from @keeganmenezes
Ruins of Tula (pyramid of Quetzalcoatl)
A dragon’s cave might seem like an odd choice for a ‘place I’d like to visit’ but, in this case, it’s more a representation of the world of heroic fantasy that we all love to visit in TTRPGS, video games and novels. Apart from being an iconic image, this red dragon and its horde represent a magical world, filled with danger, but also huge rewards for those brave enough to grasp them. Since a dragon is an intelligent creature, it also doesn’t have to be the bad guy, it could be a potential ally, or even a victim, in need of saving from a ravening princess! This was printed on my Elegoo Saturn and painted in mostly Citadel and Vallejo colours. The flickering LEDs and the smoke effect were my own addition, mostly as a distraction from the fact that I’m terrible at taking photos of minis ;)
A 3d-print of the Brandenburger Tor, one of germanys most beautiful buildings. @vandragon_de did an amazing job modelling.
Two years ago, my girlfriend and I decided to move in together, beginning a new life in a new place, surrounded by new people. We looked at the map and decided that Utrecht, The Netherlands, was going to be our next big stage. We gathered our belongings, said goodbye to our families and friends in Argentina and hopped on a plane. Little we knew that just a day after our arrival the Covid-19 lockdown was going to be in place, we were on one of the last planes to leave the country for months. At that point we were isolated in a temporary house, in a new country, without any connections. But then this magical place gave us incredible opportunities, we met new people, first online and then in person, we found jobs that allow us to continue pursuing our dreams and a place that we can call home. With this project we want to pay a little homage to Utrecht, depicting the typical architecture of The Netherlands with its beautiful canals. The city that welcomed us with the warmest of hugs, even when we had to be 1.5mts apart.
Tenochtitlan (Sacred Precinct) - Mexico Found on my mini factory The whole city was 3d printed I made a diorama of the water and the floating crops and the mountains in the back and the side I did my best just finished in time good luck to everyone hope I have a chance to win I love my mini factory and I love Anycubic and it’s my dream to be able to have a photon ultra imagine what I could do with a machine as powerful as that. Well we will see thanks for the opportunity god bless
Maria G Chaires Galvan Villagomezjuan1216@icloud.com Birthdate January 5 I picked this place because I am from Mexico and I love the ideals of the Aztecs I took inspiration from Danny Sanchez 3d model of Tenochtitlan (Sacred Precinct) - Mexico and some pictures from google I submitted another entry of the same model I’m just trying to make sure I did it right and also explain why I picked this model good luck to everyone
I chose it because I think it is one of the most beautiful buildings in our country, the Hungarian Parliament. I often stop on the banks of the Danube in the evenings and look at its magnificent illumination and the way it gleams back at me. It is close to my heart because I have fond memories of it. It evokes the pleasant cool summer evenings in Budapest.
Frauenkirche Dresden On the square where this church stands, I first met my wife, a very beautiful place that is imprinted in my memory forever!
I printed the lion statue from the National Library Vienna, created by Fritz Zerritsch. I have a great love of art and literature. I've never been to Vienna but would love to visit. I would like to see the statue in person and walk the halls of the Library. Before my father passed last year, I asked him what his favorite animal was - without hesitation he held up "claws" and said, "The Lion". This is for you Dad.
I wanted to take the chance to participate in the Anycubic’s Grand Tour Competition, with the model of one of my favourite places to be: the heart. Sounds creepy, or even corny? Maybe! I am a medical doctor currently working as a researcher in Experimental Cardiology at a Central Hospital, in The Netherlands. At this point, it is pretty clear that I am passionate about the heart not only as an organ, but also as a special symbol. It's hard to find time to express through art, but I took the chance to print and paint this model. I am pretty proud of this, especially because I don't have any experience in painting at all. I study this beautiful organ every day, and I am sure that science without art can be dull sometimes! The most colourful picture can be interpreted as an encounter of two versions of the heart: In the background there is an expressionist heart that I painted some time ago and in front of it the 3D anatomical heart. I'd like to thank @ScanTheWorld for this great beautiful model.
I printed Minerva using the Elegoo Mars 2 pro and standard grey resin. I build this diorama due to my love of ancient Greece where my family originated from. It is a place I miss a lot. I used foam for the foundation and painted everything with acrylics. I painted the borders with musous black Then carved out the walls and added plaster. The tree is made out of plaster and foam. I also mixed some epoxy with pigments to create turquoise water. I spent a good 2 weeks on this project.
I decided to paint the Himeji Castle! A special place for me is anything fantasy. I love reading and making stories. I wanted to place this castle in a fantasy setting, and make it special. Its deep under water and guarded by a giant koi dragon. I had a lot of fun with this one and I hope you like it :) If you want to see more ^^ https://www.instagram.com/flipsypuff/
I decided to conmemorate what happened in Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, 2 years ago by printing it with an Artillery X1, painting it with acrylic paint, taking photos of it and then trimming it and putting it into an appropiate digital scene as the rules didn´t specify it couldn´t be done through a photomontage. This way makes this building glow as the architectural jewel it is. The model was downloaded from MyMiniFactory.
Tatooine House. I decided to print and paint this model as a tribute for my love of Star Wars. It's what got me into this hobby.

Dutch Houses. I decided to print and paint these up because I love the bright colors and architecture present on these buildings.
Temple of Poseidon The Temple of Poseidon is a temple devoted to Poseidon, the God of Sea and one of the most famous temples from Ancient Greece.
This is the Rome Colosseum, the largest ancient amphitheater ever built and one of the most precious legacies from Rome. This is where gladiators fought, and the black represents the death of humans.
One of the most notable buildings around the world. Eiffel Tower symbolizes the modernization of France.
Yasaka Pagoda is a building that indicates where the temple is in Japan.

This is my rendition of Notre-Dame of Paris Cathedral designed by the people at MiniWorld 3d. I've always heard that the Cathedral was beautiful and complex, and honestly, the designers at MiniWorld 3D did an absolutely amazing job with the detail. They gave me an immense appreciation for the people who actually built the structure, and I cant wait to see it in person one day. I understand that one of the criteria was to give it a clean paint job, but i really enjoy whether piece. It not only gives it a more realistic look, but i feel it adds character and history to a model. I found some amazingly beautiful statues on MyMinifactories "scan the world" section and thought they would fit great with the esthetic of the Notre Dame Cathedral. I also noticed while taking pictures that the design of the windows wasn't showing, and thought putting some warm lighting inside will add so much to the final look. I made the model using my Voxlab resin 3d printer and cheap acrylic paints. I don't mean to toot my horn but it came out so much better than I thought it was.
The Statue of Liberty is one of the many places where I would like to go and see with my own eyes. This statue is one of the most known in the States. It wades in the water welcoming all who are venturing into the States from around the world.
