Intended for 3d print.
This model pack contains a regiment of Ashigaru, commoner-class infantry used between the 14th and 19th century. The Ashigaru made up the bulk of japanese armies during the Sengoku and Tokugawa Shogunate eras. The Yari was a class of bladed spears popular from late medieval times and up until the Edo period in the early 17th century. The Yari came in different variations. The one used by this regiment is a Jumonji Yari, a bladed spear with additional curved blades on the left and right side. The Jumonji Yari was used from the early 16th century and onwards, and the design was intended to deflect thrusts from opposing, single-bladed spears.
The regiment includes 12 unique soldier models in total, including one commander. The model pack also includes a round base, a Jumonji Yari, and a katana. See image gallery for a depiction of all included models.
