Description
After having trouble finding high quality figures for a Christmas village scene, I created a few random figures for 3D printing. The models are high resolution, but due to the small scale of the printed figures they lose some detail. This first set includes nine figures with a Dickensian theme to them.
Printing Details
- Some of these models are quite fragile, and so some care is needed to remove support material - especially on the two dog figures.
- In some software the files confuse meters and millimeters, so the models may need to be scaled up. The "standard" for Christmas village figures is about 55mm tall including bases.
