A 3D printable robust, durable and efficient Egg Rotary Dispenser that is easy to print without any support on a smaller 3D Printer such as the Prusa Mini or other 3D printers with a minimum build volume of 180 mm (~ 7”) cube.
The dispenser is used to sore and dispense fresh eggs on a counter top, shelf, or table, at room temperature. It can also be used in a refrigerator with sufficient spacing between the shelves to dispense store-bought eggs.
The part can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. It can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and many other types of printable materials.
PETG works very well for this application. It is easy to print. The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time.
PLA should work as well as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept at in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F).
A short video time-lapse of the object’s make is available here - URL: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/54-dfFB9lxc
The pictures of the dispenser on the counter with the fresh eggs are courtesy of my neighbor Ben, who has been kind enough to supply us with delicious fresh eggs from his free ranging chickens.
