All models are in their folders, in the attached diagram you will find the names of the pieces (all the models in the photo were printed with Ender 3, Cura slicer 3.6.0 profile included in the package)
Tutorial & Painting tutorial included
Graphics
You will notice that the appearance of the wood details of the models is very angular, scratched, sharp, extremely accentuated. This is because I wanted to get a realistic effect of the wood even in draft quality (0.2mm per layer) which smoothes every detail.
Graphic scale
check your scale!
all models are already scaled for 28 mm (my orcs are 34 mm high including the base), if you have doubts:
1) import the little man (man.stl) that I have attached to the package in your slicer (I use Cura)
2) measure your miniature and make it coincide with man.stl enlarging or decreasing the latter
3) import the first floor of a house and compare by eye if you like the scale ratio.
4) if it does not seem to scale, enlarge or reduce the foreground and write down the magnification / decrease percentage
5) apply this percentage to all the pieces in the village
The models
all the models that you will find in the folders are already oriented as I thought best for printing, all the floors of the houses have slightly loose hooks, to allow the pieces to be fitted and easily removed even after paintings.
With a print bed of 20x20x20cm each piece will fit well
Settings
Although I have separated the roofs, windows, doors, bases, walkways, drapes, cranes, supports are necessary.
Being a very asymmetrical graphic where there is not a straight wooden beam with numerous outgoing edges, I could not avoid it.
To reduce the supports to the maximum I printed everything with an overhang between 80 °-88 °, from time to time I chose depending on how many supports I saw in the slicer (Cura), clearly choosing 88 ° jutting parts having almost no support , they will be a little irregular in the lower part but with the clippers and a bit of sandpaper I solved it
The palafittes instead need supports with an overhang of at leats 60°
I found the "support Z distance" setting in the supports section very important, because it allows us to distance the top of the support from the model a bit, making it easier to separate.
try to be delicate when you remove the supports of the ground floor to avoid breakages,
I still put in the package also the base + ground floor version fused together.
My setting:
Nozzle 0,4mm
Layer 0.2 mm
5% infill
1.2 mm walls
Support overhang angle from 80° to 88° (depend by the model)
85°houses, 80° all other models (palafittes 65°)
Cleaning tools
Equip yourself with a good nipper pliers, bent pliers, small watchmaking screwdrivers, a good cutter, small scissors, limes,
(to remove those filament hairs I gave some quick passat of flame with a lighter), a toothbrush used with very hard bristles, for small breaks use a modeling gel glue (attack)
Put the windows as shown in the diagram as they are all slightly different and tailor-made for that frame, some too precise will need a little adjustment with scissors.
For the strings of the fishing boat, if you use the printable ones instead of a real lanyard, you will have to retouch them a little with the scissors to fit them in the rings.
The gate, to raise and lower the gate, uses a nylon cord and will be smoother
Painting
in the painting tutorial I have indicated the Ral code of the necessary colors,so that we can easily find them or do them yourself
