Confused and befuddled old mage, this magic-user is one of the mightiest arcane forces that the world has ever seen. The golden canary that serves as his familiar is in fact polymorphed golden dragon and there are old legends that name the old Archmage as a dragon or even a god in disguise, eternal wanderer and exile from the divine realms, forever roaming the mortal lands, defending the short-lived mortal races from the whims of gods and demons and righting both ancient and more recent wrongs.
