Gehäuse für Si8B-"Pancake"-Geiger-Zählrohr, das auch Platz für eine Wandlerelektronik bietet (einfach oben auf den Sensor im vorderen Teil des Gehäuses befestigen - ich habe meine direkt an die Steckerpins gelötet). Abgesehen vom Si8B-Sensor selbst und einigen Schrauben wird nur ein Rohrstück mit einem Außendurchmesser von 20mm und einem Innendurchmesser von 17mm als Griff benötigt und zwei Steckerpins eines alten weißen vierpoligen PC-Stromsteckers, wie er z.B. bei 5,25"-ATAPI-CDROMs verwendet wird. Die Pins passen perfekt auf die SI8B-Anschlüsse, wenn man sie etwa 1mm aufbiegt. Nach Wunsch kann das Rohrstück dann noch mit einem passenden Fahrradlenkergriff für 20mm-Lenkerrohre versehen (siehe letztes Bild).

Der in den Modellen enthaltene Steckerhalter ist für einen Stecker der Lemo S2-Serie mit M15x1-Gewinde designed, wie er z.B. bei den deutschen SV 500-Geigerzählern verwendet wird. Das Gewinde ist im Modell enthalten. Ich habe es mit 0,15mm Schichthöhe und einer 0,4mm Düse gedruckt und konnte den Stecker anschließend einfach einschrauben.

Alle Teile je einmal drucken - nur die obere Abdeckung (mit der Bohrung für das Rohrstück) sollte Stützmaterial benötigen. Wenn der Drucker dazu neigt, Teile mehr als 0,2mm dicker zu drucken als sie sein sollten, muß eventuell der Schraubdeckel etwas größer skaliert werden, er hat eine recht genaue Passung zum Gehäuse hin.

Vor der Montage etwas Moosgummi auf die Zacken des kronenförmigen Rings aufkleben, der den Sensor an seinem Platz hält - er ist 1mm flacher designed als er sollte, da zumindest mein Sensor nicht allzu genau gefertigt ist.

Case for Si8B pancake Geiger counter sensor which also offers space for an electronic converter (just place it on top of the sensor into the front part of the case; I soldered mine directly onto the connector pins). Apart from the Si8B sensor itself and some screws, you just need a metal cylinder (e.g. a pipe piece) with outer dia 20mm, inner dia 17mm as a handle, and an old 5,25" female PC internal power connector as it is used on e.g. ATAPI CDROMs to get two of the connectors. They fit perfectly onto the SI8B pins if you bend them open about 1mm. Optionally, you can add a foam or rubber grip for a 20mm bike handlebar (see last picture).

The added connector holder ("steckerhalter.stl") is made for a Lemo S2 series plug with M15x1 thread as it is used on e.g. the german SV 500 geiger counters. The thread is included in the model. I printed it with 0,15mm layer height and a 0,4mm nozzle and was able to screw in the connector easily afterwards.

Print all parts once - only the upper cover ("gehaeuse-oberteil.stl", with the pipe hole) should require support material. If your printer tends to produce parts that are more than 0,2mm thicker than they should be you might need to rescale the screw-on lid ("deckel.stl") slightly, it has a rather tight fit.

Add some foam rubber onto the "pins" of the crown shaped ring which holds the sensor in place, it is designed with 1mm less height than it theoretically needs since at least my sensor is not too exactly manufactured.
