Tall and gaunt humanoids with rough, thick skin and deep-sunken black eyes, Githyanki are a race evolved from humans as mind flayer slaves. After the revolt led by an ancient hero, they have become relentless hunters of mind flayers, organized into castes and warrior societies.
Githyanki hunters serve as trackers and headhunters, frequently armed with two weapons that they wield at the same time, they attack from ambush, trying to cut of mind flayer’s head before the creature uses its mind powers. Githyanki hunters are also precursors to incursion of raiding parties into Primer Material and they frequently explore worlds ripe for plunder. If not alone, they are encountered as members of raiding parties led by Githyanki knights.
