This is a version of my customizable loupe mount designed to be printed in two parts and glued together. Printed in one piece, the overhanging surface of the clip portion was rough due to the support; I wanted that face printed as a smooth bottom layer. I've extended and thickened the outside shell to give more surface area for gluing, and added tabs and holes to help with alignment.
It clips to an iPhone 5/5s with case (Apple leather case) and is designed to work with this $7 60x jeweler's loupe on Amazon. You can adjust the dimensions with DesignSpark Mechanical. Look at the OpenSCAD model in my original design to determine the proper dimensions for your case/thing you want to mount.
This one is not customizable using the Customizer, but I have provided the RSDOC file for DesignSpark Mechanical.
Designed to be printed at .20mm layer height and .40mm extrusion width. Other settings may cause issues with the tabs or create gaps in the top of the tube.
Flip the parts over to print so that the overhanging surfaces are down. The assembled STL is only there to show the complete assembly, although it can be printed with support.
Parts can be glued together using superglue, 2 part epoxy, or ABS dissolved in acetone if printing in ABS.
