When doing fiberglass moulds I've found all over people use the M6 bolt and wing nut to join, this is seemingly universal (in the UK).
Occasionally a bolt will snag when loosening or tightening due to all the resin, filler and fiberglass around and either shred your fingers or your gloves. pliers work but i figured a small dedicated tool will be less hassle to use.
Please note that i would only print these in PLA or PETG, not ABS as polyester resin from fiberglass is cleaned off tools with acetone :)
wingnuts with wings in or out can be used easily with version 3, as the underside and bolt hole are both chamfered, I've used this for around 300 bolts over the last week and it works a treat!
designed in fusion 360, printed on a rostock max v2 with a .6mm volcano nozzle
V3 uses a little bit of support material, i wanted to keep the profile low but have enough length for a good grip
