These guys are a set of medieval blacksmiths in 1:72 scale to complement the carpenter set. You can also call them Medieval Siege Engineers Part II.
The figures directly working with hammers and holding hot stuff with tongs are wearing aprons. Another one is bringing a bucket of water and there also is one working the bellows on a modest-sized furnace. There also is an iron anvil, which has been set up on a large stump of wood.
All the smaller implements (tongs, bucket, hammers) are also available as spares here just in case you need some. A few sword blades are also provided. Note that the files are sized at 1:72 and much of the equipment is quite tiny at this scale.
Update 16.12.2021: added a new, alternative set of the same characters here, but without the equipment in their hands - this follows some feedback that at 1:72 scale some items - esp the tongs and the hammer - break off very easily. Now you can print out these items separately, and then glue into their hands. Also, I was advised that the anvil was seriously off, its size and weight being far too large to have been realistic. So here I have added anvil No. 2 which I hope is a better one. The carpentry team will also get empty hands versions shortly.
