The key fightercraft of the Mercy's Reach fleet, the Gemini is an advanced AI controlled drone. Heavily armored and armed, the skullfighter earns its name as a reliquary tomb for the remains of the remnant organic skulls of the ship's immortal Ace Pilot. Serving as the central catalytic processor, the memetic information embedded in each skull plugged into the control systems of the Gemini gives each ship a dire will to life and a unfathomable devotion to duty while maintaining a sense of objective morality.
Armed with 4 heavy machine guns, 2 heavy cannons, and 4 missile hard points, the bulk of the Gemini is devoted to munitions storage as there's no need for life support. Though limited in range of the homeship, the skullfighter is still capable of FTL travel and can provide support some light years away from port and is designed for entry and exit of variable environments, but is best suited for void combat. And if the ship's capabilities weren't enough itself, the vessel also serves as a delivery of the Revenant Combat Frame, which utilizes the Ace Pilot's skull hardwired into a cybernetic body.
