This is a caddy designed to hold (3) Akro-Mils 5705 small parts organizers (https://akro-mils.com/Products/Types/Portable-Small-Parts-Storage/Portable-Organizers/Storage-Case-05705). A parts tray is available on top for any loose items. It also has a peg board style array on each end for customization. I have included a small box and tool holder. If you want to make your own custom add-ons or integrate them, the STEP file for the end caps is provided.
The door is attached with 5*3mm neodymium magnets. It can be completely removed and stowed on the back of the caddy on a matching set of magnets. Alternately, pins can be inserted and the door converted to a hinge mechanism. Be advised the hinge pins are still in development.
The handle can either be a 231mm length of 3/4" PVC pipe or 7/8" wooden dowel. Both press fit in place and are captured by the end caps. (2) wood screws can be used to further attach the dowel, if needed.
Assembly is via M3 screws. The following are needed:
(4) 20mm, through the ends and into the top/tray
(4) 8mm, through the end caps and into the inner sides
(4) 8mm for the bottom if NOT using the optional feet
***OR***
(4) 12mm for the bottom/feet
CA glue is optional for the magnets, depending on print tolerance.
PLEASE NOTE: A 232mm wide print area is needed for a couple of the parts. These parts will not print in whole on an Ender 3 or similar. They print without issue on my CR-6 SE and should be fine on larger printers. The parts organizers are about 219mm wide on their own, so there is basically no hope of designing something to hold them that prints easily on an Ender 3.

- PLA tested. Should work okay with PLA+ or PETG as well
- 4 to 6 walls recommended, 10-20% infill
- Expect this to require most of a 1KG spool to complete
- Some post-processing required for good fitment of interlocking parts (bottom, inner sides, slotted accessories)
