The front suspension struts on a Gen1 Nissan Leaf can fill up with water and rust. Use this cover to keep the rain out.
Print two, one for each side.
You'll see it has a flat top with a 5 degree slope. That makes it super easy to print whilst still shedding water. No need to use supports (ie., no wasted plastic).
I don't think it matters which way round you put it on.
I used PLA because it's the least environmentally bad. I don't know how long it will endure in this situation. (Long enough I suspect.)
Version 4 of the STL file is a minor update - it just adds the text on the inside. The text is only 0.5 mm high so your slicer will probably not bother rendering it - which is fine.
